Study trip within the framework of the project PAIC takes place in Kyiv
Between 26 November and 1 December, young researchers from Germany will attend a study trip to Kyiv which is organized within the scope of the project “Platform for Analytics and Intercultural Communication” (PAIC).
The study trip enables researchers with special interest in Ukraine to contribute to a formal and informal exchange with Ukrainian think tanks and to make new contacts. The researchers will be given the opportunity to gain insight into Ukrainian internal and foreign policies with a focus on education, social affairs and decentralization. Finally, the participants are given the possibility to attend a think tank conference on 30 November 2017 in Kyiv, which is one of the few exchange platforms where think tanks from all Ukrainian regions are represented.
The project “Platform for Analytics and Intercultural Communication” (PAIC) is conducted by the Institute for European Politics e.V. (IEP, Berlin) in cooperation with the International Renaissance Foundation (IRF, Kiev), the Ilko Kucheriv Democratic Initiatives Foundation (DIF, Kiev) and the think tank initiative “think twice UA” (Kiev), supported by the German Federal Foreign Office in 2017–2018.
