Strengthening the National Identity of Moldova within the EU association process (MIDEU)

The project seeks to strengthen the process of national identity-building in Moldova, as well as to frame it in the context of the EU-Association process. The project’s activities will take place in the period from March to December 2017.
The manifold project activities in Chișinău, Bălți, Comrat and Cahul aim at fostering the local debate on national identity, successful minority integration, and modernization policy and to transfer its results to the national level. Based on these results, specific policy recommendations will be elaborated.
The project is implemented by the Institut für Europäische Politik (Berlin) in cooperation with the Institute for Strategic Initiatives IPIS (Chişinău) and the Institute for European Policy and Reforms IPRE (Chişinău). It is supported by the German Federal Foreign Office.
