Europawissenschaftliches Netzwerk Deutschland (END) and Junges Europawissenschaftliches Netzwerk (JEN) / Alternative Europa!

Europawissenschaftliches Netzwerk Deutschland (END) and Junges Europawissenschaftliches Netzwerk (JEN) are the expressions of the close cooperation between the Institut für Europäische Politik (IEP) and the Arbeitskreis Europäische Integration (AEI).

The END, founded in 2015, interlaces the IEP’s expertise in the study of Europe and civil society with the expertise of the comprehensively interdisciplinary AEI, which includes over 400 academics. The END comprises the disciplines of political science, law, economics, history, sociology and cultural studies. For more information on its research project: “Integrationskonkurrenz zwischen Ost und West: die Europäische Union und Russland in Osteuropa und im Südkaukasus”. The END is funded by the Otto Wolff Stiftung.

Founded in 2016, the JEN is a network of young scientists, young professionals and young activists from civil society organizations. It is intended to be a platform on which debates in the form of concrete projects will be conducted over a vision for European integration, as well as over exact suggestions for the future of European politics. You will find information on the first JEN Project, “Alternative Europa!”, here.
