IEP Lunch Debate “TruLies” with Manuel Sarrazin, MP: “European Populism in Germany”
In the course of the project “TruLies – The Truth about Lies on Europe” of the Institute for European Politics (IEP) in cooperation with Das Progressive Zentrum, the IEP public lunch debate with Manuel Sarrazin, MP (member of the Alliance ’90/The Greens parliamentary group in the Bundestag) on the topic “European Populism in Germany” took place on September 20th, 2016.
Bernhard Schnittger, Deputy Head of the European Commission’s Representation in Germany, held a greeting and Dr Funda Tekin, Centre international de formation européenne (CIFE), commented on the talk. The event was moderated by Dr Katrin Böttger, Deputy Director of the IEP.
The IEP public lunch debate with Manuel Sarrazin was one of the events of the project “TruLies – The Truth about Lies on Europe” which is funded by Stiftung Mercator.
This event took place in the premises of Europäisches Haus.
